Statement
I create art to make sense of the quiet moments that often pass unnoticed. My work exists where simplicity meets complexity, where the mundane becomes meaningful. Through ink, thread, paper, and the objects we touch every day, I search for connection—first with myself, and then with those who are standing in front of my work.
The marks I make are shaped by memory and intuition. Some pieces carry everyday textures, while others hold layers of my personal history stitched and built into the surface. These works aren’t meant to mirror reality; they’re meant to echo the feelings that accompany it.
I hope that when someone sees my art, they recognize something familiar—an emotion, a memory, a fleeting moment that suddenly feels shared. My work is an invitation to pause, reflect, and find connection in the small, quiet spaces of life. Through shared experiences, quiet emotions, and time suspended, I hope viewers will step into this space where our stories can briefly overlap.
