My herstory collection is an exploration within my art through letters, and documents involving my female ancestors. I am utilizing my knowledge and skills of various media forms to share my own ancestry with others in a way that I hope it will help the viewer connect to theirs. Not only do I feel a need to share my origin story but the skills I have learned from these women, making this a shared experience of knowledge as it is passed down from one generation to the next.
